I’ve been painting on and off since junior high; however, my portraits of pets have been inspired by the unconditional love of my canine companion of 16 years, Pippin. When she passed I found solace in representing the joy of having her as a part of my life through colorful and expressive acrylic on canvas paintings. This was her gift to me and when I portray your faithful companion’s image though art, I am passing on some of that gift to you.

 

Most of these portraits are painted in acrylic on 16 x 20 or 12 x 12 inch canvas drawn from images of your favorite photos. Each of my works is unique and represents that which inspires me from moment to moment as I paint. If you wish to commission a painting send me images of your pet. The cost will be agreed upon based on my estimation of the time and materials required.
